Parker Grace Designs was started by Paula Murphy in July of 2004 following the birth of her daughter, Parker Grace.

Paula graduated from college with a degree in Electrical Engineering with a passion for finding ways to build a better mousetrap. She went on to complete one of the nation's top MBA programs. After finishing school, Paula completely switched gears and entered the hard-charging world of entertainment representation, working for a company that represented such stars as Johnny Depp, Charlize Theron and Sharon Stone. She was always intrigued by the innovative and fun fashions that her company's biggest stars would display.

Paula's world completely changed in the summer of 2004 when she helped bring the love of her life, daughter Parker Grace, into the world. Paula gave up her job and dedicated herself to raising the best baby in the whole world. Concerned with taking her baby outside without proper eye protection, Paula tried to purchase a pair of baby sunglasses that would protect her child's eyes from harmful UV rays while being comfortable and at least somewhat fashionable. Unsatisfied with glasses that would either continuously fall off or look like something straight out of Revenge of the Nerds, Paula decided to create her own super glasses. Combining her engineering abilities with her front row seat to the world of Hollywood fashion, Paula created Parker G sunglasses. Comfortable, stylish and most importantly protective of her child's eyes, Parker G's have arrived on the scene and will forever change the way people think of babies' sunglasses.
